I was first introduced to UI/UX design at the Technovation Girls program, and it was like unlocking a world where creativity had a real purpose. Design suddenly wasn’t just about making things pretty, it was about shaping experiences that help people. I dove in with freelance projects, learning by doing, experimenting, and growing with each one. Then came Aqylym, a startup where I took on the role of Chief UI/UX Designer—we even made it to the finals of the Nuris Incubation program and won $5000 pre-seed, which was an absolute thrill!

As a Kazakh woman living in Shanghai, I’ve been exposed to so many different perspectives, and that’s inspired me to focus on projects that tackle social and global issues. I’m not just designing screens(even though I love to!), I’m digging into real problems and crafting solutions that feel natural and meaningful for users. It’s more than just pixels to me—I love how digital design can shift how we understand and interact with the world.

I’m also really into fashion and dance, and I think that love for expression and movement sneaks its way into my work. My website reflects this journey, sharing the stories and insights behind each project as I work towards creating experiences that truly connect with people.
